Abhay Singh Chautala is an Indian political leader from Haryana. He is currently member of legislative assembly from Ellenabad constituency of Sirsa district Haryana. He heads the legacy of his grandfather Chaudhary Devi Lal and father Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala with his political party Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) which was founded by Tau Devi Lal.

Personal Life

Abhay Singh Chautala was born in 14th February 1963 to Chaudhary Omprakash Chautala and Smt. Sneh Lata of Chautala village of Sirsa district Haryana. Abhay Singh Chautala is maarried to Smt. Kanta Singh and have two sons Karan Chautala and Arjun Chautala. He pursued education from S.M. Hindu High School, Sonepat and Sports College, HAU, Hisar. He showed interest in public dealing and uplifting of the society. Abhay Singh Chautala took interest in various social activities for implementation of various programmes and policies framed under his grandfather’s dynamic leadership of Ch. Devi Lal and father Ch. Om Prakash Chautala. He promoted Social, Educational Religious Institutions Organizations and organizing constructive activities for youth. He is deeply concerned about the development in the Field of Agriculture, Industries, Environment & Education.

Travelling across the globe, reading history books, promoting sports, watching films related to social life, playing various sports like golf, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket are some of his hobbies. Abhay Singh Chautala represented the state 8 times in National Volley Ball championship and won medals. Political Career

Abhay Singh Chautala started his political career from panchayat level and have been elected four times in legislative assembly. He was elected MLA for the first time in year 2000 from Rori MLA constituency of Sirsa district then in 2010 by election, 2014 & 2019 general vidhan sabha elections.

• In 2000 , he was elected as member of Haryana State Legislative Assembly or Haryana Vidhan Sabha as candidate of Indian National Lok Dal from Rori constituency of Sirsa district.
• In 2010 by-election, he won by election of Ellenabad constituency in Sirsa district.
• In 2014, he was elected as MLA from Ellenabad constituency of sirsa district.
• In 2019, he was elected as MLA from Ellenabad constituency of Sirsa district.
• In 2021 by-election, he was again elected as MLA from Ellenabad constituency of Sirsa district.
